Municipalities of production: Meursault and Puligny-Montrachet. Red wines benefit only from the naming BLAGNY. Naming BLAGNY and BLAGNY PREMIER CRU can be followed or not by the name of their climate of origin. The dress of Blagny is purple darkened ruby going to the black cherry or in the purplish ruby. The vine distinguishes here vintage wines and their naming, on lands which already valued in the XIIth century the Cistercian monks of Maizières, the fathers of the Montrachet. The mention Côte de Beaune can accompany the word Blagny. The naming was recognized in 1937.
