BONNES-MARESNaming Grand Cru of the Night coast, in Côte-d'Or. Municipalities of production: Chambolle-Musigny and Morey-Saint-Denis. On the label, the naming GRAND CRU has to appear necessarily at once below the name of the naming in an identical cutting of characters. A bottle of Good Puddles possesses of the wealth and some fat, the body and the lamb's lettuce. Its structure is sharply carpentered. Stronger than flowery, sometimes a little bit wild, this wine is of long keeping, until 30 or 50 years. The amateurs discuss nuances which would distinguish the part of the Grand Cru situated on Morey and that situated on Chambolle. In the truth, curvature, here and there, and elegance become confused under the same delicately tannic power. The aromas evoke the violet, the humus and the undergrowth. Morey-Saint-Denis, Chambolle-Musigny: the Night coast makes a success here of the perfect communion of two temperaments within the same character. Since the Early Middle Ages, this vineyard is known under this name. Where from does it come? Doubtless of the old word have a good laugh, cultivate carefully. Of classic arts goddesses-mothers? Not very probable. Grand Cru recognized on December 8th, 1936. The Good Puddles are situated just after the Closed of Tart adjoining Grand Cru by going southward. It is more widened on Chambolle-Musigny than on Morey-Saint-Denis and it trains a rectangle between the combs of Morey and Chambolle. The exposure is in the east, the height from 250 to 280 meters on average. The basement is made by paving stones limestones and of white marl. It carries approximately 40 centimeters of argilo-siliceous, rather light and rocky, brown and reddish earth. The slope is light. Jurassic origin, there is about 150 million years. Red wines exclusively, pinot noir grape variety. Surface in production: 15 ha
