Eglise-Clinet

The strength of this property, ideally situated beside the church of St. Jean de Pomerol, lies above all in its very old vines, much of which has withstood the devastating frost of 1956 and then to those of 1985 and 1987.

The average age of the vineyard and beyond 40 years. Parfoit appearing a bit austere in its youth, due to a significant proportion of Cabernet Franc in the final assembly, the Church-Clinet is aging beautifully and begins to reveal its full potential from 10-12 years of age.

Unfortunately, the quantities produced are small and the wine reaches very high prices. He can always console himself with the second wine of the estate: The Little Church.
