Jaboulet Aîné

The takeover in 2006 of the famous house of Tain l'Hermitage by the Swiss financier Jean-Jacques Frey put an end to a family history dating back over 170 years. Founded in 1834, tradition, success and family continuity, even if we recognize that the quality of wines produced in the last decade was enough to disappoint - the flagship of the house, the Hermitage la Chapelle, being the perfect illustration.

The trend began to reverse in 2003, under the direction of the new impultion, played by Caroline Frey (also responsible for the Medoc Chateau La Lagune).
