Pape Clément Bertrand de Goth (Clement V was the owner of this land, but never the wine has been treated today. Scarcely less vigorous than Haut-Brion, the wine of Pape Clement is distinguished by the same type bouquet of smoky and spicy linked to sandy gravel Pessac.
Soft, wide shoulder, he seduces with happiness, especially in vintages 1986, 1996 and 1998. Since 2000 and especially 2001, its owner Bernard Magrez has made every effort to lift this wine at an even higher level.
Without losing its generous qualities, thought has indeed won elegant texture and depth. The property produces a small amount gently white musk, and a natural elegance that puts the head of the serious dominant Sauvignon.
