Champagne - 2000

Meteorological data: dry and soft Winter. Soft and very rainy spring. Very dry May and June. At the beginning of July, violent thunderstorms of hail which destroy a part of the vineyard. Return of the good weather, dry and sunny, in August then until the grape harvests.

State of the grape harvests:

Dates: premature, from September 11th.

Abundance: harvest of an average return.

Quality: of beautiful healthy grapes, a good maturity.

General quality of the vintage wine: Good. Wines in the degrees of average alcohol, a good level of acidity. Some beautiful success.
