Red Burgundy - 2000

Meteorological data: warm Weather in May and in June. Premature bloom and the very fast beginning of June. Rain and fraicheur in July. Some thunderstorm of hail caused rather important damages on certain vineyards. In sunny and dry August and September altogether, in spite of some showers.

State of the grape harvests:
From September 6th.
Abundance: high Harvest.

Quality: rather good but uneven. Sortings and grape harvests in green. Sometimes insufficient maturation.

General quality of the vintage wine: rather good, but heterogeneous. Some beautiful success. A lot of austere wines, to drink young person.
